the brief
O Loclainn’s is a 6th generation Irish whiskey bar in Ballyvaughan, County Clare – offering those who visit a real Irish pub experience combined with its unmatched selection of whiskeys.
While whiskey is the heart of the pub, it offers a unique and rare experience: a place where there’s no TV, where you won’t see people occupied by their phones. Instead, O Loclainn’s is a place to get together, chat and reflect on the day – a quiet space to share a drink, a story and some great banter. A place loved by locals and tourists alike. For the client, it was important that their new website conveyed this personality, while also owning the space of ‘whiskey expert.’

We developed a website that conveyed the ‘intimate space’ that is O Loclainn’s – bringing alive its history, authenticity and character.
Creative copy works alongside stunning photography to give users a real glimpse into the world of O Loclainn’s. We also built a back-end eCommerce solution into the website – through which users can purchase branded O Loclainn’s items.
